Friends — The Fuel forLife Energy and Spirituality
ou will never be better than the five people you hang out with the most!
When it comes to relationships, we are greatly influenced — whether we like it or not — by those closest to us. It affects our way of thinking, our self-esteem, and our decisions. Of course, everyone is their own person, but research has shown that we're more affected by our environment than we think. So being with the right set of friends matters — but so does how good a friend you are.
Friendship should be a wonderful kind of togetherness where each encourages and liberates the other into a fullness of their potential.
All meaningful relationships are mutual. Often, friends share with each other what is shared with no other. A friend is there to help, guide, assist, but not judge.
Friends help each other come alive. One of the greatest sins is to not to allow yourself to become the chief executive of the project we call “your life.” Friends help you to appreciate the reverence for the immense possibility that is inside you.
Friendship requires respect, reverence, acceptance, appreciation and love. I believe one must be in love with life to be a good friend. But also, to care for and love themselves.
If you can strip back the layers of lies, pretension, gamesmanship, and get down to the flow of energy that is within your soul, you will find yourself living intentionally with Vigorous Energy.
It’s impossible, as a human, to stop the well of energy and the well of life that is inside you. You might calm it, or quell it, and even stifle it, but it is still within you.
Your Life Energy is your Spirituality. The people we call friends give us fuel for the fire to burn.
Thoughts to Ponder:
Am I a good friend?
Do I have respect, reverence and an appreciation of life?
Who are the people I spend the most time with and how does that affect me?
Performance Coach (PC), for most, becomes a primary friend group with near daily communication with people who are alive with energy, passion and a zest for life. It becomes a place, not only to share your struggles, but for your friends and mentor to help you become aware of patterns in your life that are either driving you forward or holding you back, and to help you identify and keep ever present the relationships that matter most in your life. There is no other program like Performance Coach in dentistry!
This is another special Open PC Conference with Dr. Michael Schuster, Dr. Michael Edwards, Dr. John Herrin, Dr. TJ Bolt and
Dr. Robin Steeley. Bring your team or your spouse! Special pricing for additional team members.
This is the only conference where you can join the current Performance Coach participants for the January retreat. PC meets twice a year in January and June to retreat, re-energize, reassess, reinvigorate, and reconnect with each other and our purpose. PC meets twice a month on conference calls to discuss the health of the practice, goals for the quarter and the year, as well as what struggles are going on in the practice or life. These calls continue to support the doctor in the focus of energy on what matters most for each doctor.
Join us for the weekend or for the year! To discuss participating in PC, call or text Dr. Michael Edwards at 636-234-7481 and set up a time to see if PC is right for you.
